Christmas Beauty Haul!

Hello Fellow Makeup Lovers :)

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I'm here to share all the amazing products I received as gifts this Christmas.

Here's a shot of everything under my tree :)

The picture below shows my 3 new palettes. The top one is the MAC limited edition "Stoke of Midnight Face Palette" in cool. I loooove the eyeshadows in this palette- they're beautiful matte grey/purple tones. I also got the Naked 2 and Naked 3 palettes. I can't way to play with these!

This rollerball set was part of a "white elephant" gift exchange with my family, and luckily I chose this gift out of the pile! It has three Marc Jacobs fragrances: Dot, Daisy, and Daisy Eau So Fresh.

Here are the eye products I got, including Katy Perry Lashes in "Oh Honey!", Stila "Stay All Day" Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, Estee Lauder "Sumptuous Extreme" Mascara, and a Sephora Eyelash Curler.

Last but not least I also got two products that I have been wanting for a while. I kept putting it off because of the price, but I finally made the leap! The first one is Benefit's Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer. I got a sample of it a few weeks ago, which made me finally purchase it! I also got a Beauty Blender and the solid sponge cleaner. I've been using knock off versions of the Beauty Blender to avoid paying $20 for a sponge, but based on the feel of it I think it will definitely be worth the investment.

I'm beyond excited to play with all my new goodies! Happy Holidays and enjoy your NYE celebrations!

Top 10 Tried & True Beauty Favorites

We all have those beauty products that we keep coming back to. Your favorite moisturizer, mascara, or foundation that you know work for you. I always like to try new products, but not many keep me coming back time and time again. These are some of my holy grail products that I have repurchased over and over. Let me know what your tried and true favorites are!

1. Pond's Cold Cream: Does this make me sound like an old lady? I've been using Pond's Cold Cream to remove my eye makeup since I first started wearing makeup. That's what my mom has always used so thats what I use too. I've tried a lot of other makeup removers, but nothing takes off stubborn eyeliner and mascara like Pond's Cold Cream!

2. Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer with Sunscreen: I use Olay moisturizer every single day. I love to do a deeper night time moisturizer at night, but I swear by Olay morning or night. I think it's the best moisturizer to use in the morning before my makeup. It gives me the perfect amount of moisture without making my skin oily.

3. Revlon ColorStay Whipped Creme Foundation: This is a newer product for me, but I absolutely love this foundation. I don't re-purchase foundations very often, but I'm on my second bottle of this one! I'd say it's medium to full coverage and it gives you a beautiful natural finish.

4. Covergirl CG Smoothers Concealer: This is an oldie but a goodie. I use it to conceal pimples and any other blemishes on my face. The coverage is perfect for me and it stays on well. Not to mention it's cheap!

5. MAC Pro Longwear Concealer: Unfortunately, I inherited my family's dark, puffy under-eyes. I don't think I will ever find a product that will make that go away, but this one definitely helps! It's creamy and easy to apply, gives great coverage, and doesn't dry out my under-eyes.

6. Maybelline "Lasting Drama" Gel Eyeliner: I've always been an eyeliner junkie, and I am totally obsessed with gel liner. I wear eyeliner pretty much every day, and gel eyeliner is my absolute favorite! It gives you such a glamorous look and amps of any makeup look.

7. Maybelline Great Lash BIG Mascara: It doesn't give you major volume or length, but this is my favorite day to day mascara. It's perfect for a natural look.

8. MAC Eyeshadow in Soft Brown: I haven't had this shadow for a super long time, but ever since I bought it I've probably used it every day. It's the perfect warm brown for the crease and it blends out amazingly.

9. Stila Eyeshadow in Kitten: This shadow is the most gorgeous champagne color and it looks amazing all over the lid. I love to use it for neutral shadow looks. It's a great shade for day-time and night-time.

10. Sephora Collection Glossy Gloss in Rusted Rose: I'm kind of picky about lip gloss- it can't be too sticky, or too thick, or too glittery. I only have one shade of this lip gloss, so I can't speak to the whole line, but the shade I do have is perfection. It's the perfect consistency, feels smooth on your lips, and isn't too sticky. I also love this color because it just adds a little boost of color to your natural lips.

Holiday Makeup

The Holidays are almost here, so it's the perfect time to talk about a classic holiday makeup look. I created this look for my company Christmas party last weekend. I went with a neutral eye, winged gel eyeliner, and a classic red lip. To me, this is the perfect look for the holidays or special occasion. A neutral eye and a bold lip will never go out of style. Here is a list of all the products I used to create this look:

Face:
Benefit Porefessional primer
Revlon Colorstay Whipped foundation
CG Smoothers Concealer
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
Bare Minerals Touch Up Veil powder
MAC Bronzing Powder in Golden
The Balm Cabana Boy blush
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle
Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray

Eyes:
MAC Soft Brown
Bobbi Brown Chocolate & Gold Eye Paint Palette (Gold color)
Stila In the Light Palette (Kitten and Luster)
MAC Dazzle-Light
Maybelline Eye Studio gel liner in Blackest Black
Ardell LashLites 330
Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Ash

Lips:
NYX lip liner in Hot Red
Be a Bombshell lip crayon in Hot Damn
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Monte Carlo

I hope you guys like this look and can use it as an inspiration for your Holiday look this year!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
